Kimberly, of FoodieCityMom.com asked me to create a design for her new foodie blog. After years of blogging at MomintheCity.com, she was ready to start fresh. She came to me with a logo (previously designed) and wanted her design to match its clean and feminine feel. I choose the Genesis Framework as the basis for her design as its built-in updating feature allows for her to maintain the integrity of the theme easily. This design features rounded edges for the images and sidebar sections, as well as custom-made social media bowls. I also used a variety or plugins to extend the functionality of her blog.
